Today I showed my rough cut to Mike, my MMP Supervisor. It was a very rough cut. It didn't have music or a conclusion which are all important pieces of the puzzle to making a successful and fluid documentary.
The feedback was very positive, as well as Mike confirming that my entire piece was legally sound and I was given permission to continue with my documentary.
His advice was to change my script to set the scene more and provide more information about hunting on a baseline level for those who know nothing about the topic at all.
I've taken this advice on board and have rewritten my script as well as planned how to reshoot my introduction piece to camera.
I'm my biggest critic and getting the positive reaction from Mike was massive for my confidence about the piece and I will take on board his advice and finalise my edit soon with these additions made.
