Meeting the Hunters

Writer's picture: Luke HewittLuke Hewitt

If there was one thing that was more imperative than the Police interview it would be finding a hunting team who would be willing to work with me and let me be a fly on the wall in their operation of stinging suspected predators.

I finally achieved this when a team with 20,000 facebook likes said they'd be more than happy to be the case study of my documentary and take me on a sting. This was huge. They were fully on board with the documentary as well as being willing to be on camera and take me on a sting.

Yesterday I met them.

I was apprehensive meeting this team as they said they want everything filmed in public because they didn't want anything to do with where they lived, being shown in the documentary, even their sofa.

However, within minutes, I knew that these were just normal guys who wanted to help me. The interview went great, however the way I've framed it seemed to much like a news package and therefore I've decided to post that interview on my blog and do a second shoot, a more dynamic one, with the team when we go on the sting.

Stay tuned for the post that contains these interviews.
